Quality Assurance & Quality Control

 

Algoma Radon Testing measurement protocols are in place to ensure accurate results and therefore adheres to a strict Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) program to measure precision, bias & accuracy. All analytical devices are factory calibrated on a yearly basis by the manufacturer. In house calibrations are performed on a regular basis using calibrated reference sources to ensure accuracy of the testing device. Quality Control programs are also in place for duplicate sampling and field blanks. Blind spiking is also conducted and detectors analysed by an outside laboratory.
